COURAGE CART & Toy Fundraising

How to help

Send a Toy, Start Your Own COURAGE CART, or Make a Donation

As an extension of our family support program, We’ve Got Your Back, we have just launched our COURAGE CART program. As you can see from the archived images scrolling here, toy and craft supply collections for the cancer hospitals, and MSKCC in particular, has been in the hearts of Go With Courage from its inception. Both David and Evan Jaslow collected toys and craft kits for MSKCC as their Mitzvah Projects.

New for 2025, in coordination with our amazing student volunteers, and with 11th grade RHS student Eliza Liebowitz envisioning and leading the program, we hope to have collections/fundraising campaigns continuing throughout the year to send approved toys and arts & crafts kits to various participating hospitals and respite facilities.

Here is how it works:

ANYONE can participate by clicking below to either send a toy directly to a location of his/her choosing or to make a monetary contribution with the goal of keeping We’ve Got Your Back going.

ANYONE can sponsor a COURAGE CART. The individual would reach out to us indicating an interest in getting started. We would provide guidance, logos, some suggested language, and the links to create a personalized letter/email-writing/social media campaign. The COURAGE CART creator would ask for toys or monetary donations or a combination of the two. The donations would either be sent through the provided links below or the volunteer would collect the donations at his/her home and arrange to make an in-person drop-off at the facility. This would involve contacting the facility directly to coordinate an in-person drop-off – we would help get you in touch with the appropriate party. Please note that not all locations will allow an in-person drop off.

UPON REVIEW AND APPROVAL, COMMUNITY SERVICE CREDIT HOURS WILL BE AWARDED TO ANY STUDENT CREATING HIS/HER OWN COURAGE CART CAMPAIGN.
